Cherry blossoms are blooming, wildflowers are shooting out, and that means… spring is near! The weather, however, is still erratic. One day it would be warm and lovely, and the next would be freezing like Elsa’s castle. It’s as though Winter and Spring are now engaged in an epic war, both refusing to give up power over Melbourne. Well, Winter, I hate to break it to you, but your time is up.
On a personal note, I am also about to start a brand new season in my life. I am very happy to share that I have finally found a job (yay!), and I start TOMORROW! (woohoo!)
I am both excited and nervous, as this is my first proper job in Australia after all. Suddenly I’m feeling like a fresh grad all over again, off to my first paid role. But of course I’m not, so I have to keep reminding myself that I am an experienced old woman and I should hold on to some self-esteem and confidence 😉
It’s a full-time position, which means we will all have to get used to a new routine. It’s going to be a little challenging, but we will try to work out a routine that works best, and I believe it will all be good!
