Introducing: The Stories of Yore podcast

So, I’ve been busy.

And today, I’m super excited to introduce my little passion project to you: the Stories of Yore podcast!

Many of you know that I used to work in radio. And I really loved it – and miss it! But, due to various reasons, I don’t see myself going to work at a radio station here in Melbourne.

One night, I was chatting with my hubby before we went to bed, as we tend to do. And we started talking about podcast shows that we’ve been listening to. Somewhere in the conversation, I casually said, “Maybe I should start my own podcast.”

To which he replied without hesitation, “DO IT!”

So, I did!

The first thing that came to mind once I started actually working on it was, “This is a lot of work.” lol

But I love it. Through this podcast, I get to combine my passion for storytelling, writing, editing, presenting and sound-editing all in one pod place. Just thinking about it makes me smile. (And maybe feel a little daunted. It is a lot of work.)

Well, I’ve only got one episode up so far, and I’m still finding my footing. But I can’t wait to see how this grows and evolves.

I aim to publish one episode per month, but with everything that’s going on with Alistair (plus the fact that I have a full-time job), I will be extra mindful to do what I can and not kill myself over it. After all, this is meant to be a passion project, not a pressure project.

So yep. My dear friends, if you love folklores, myths and legends, especially those from Asia, give Stories of Yore a go and let me know what you think. Every episode is bite-sized and should be 15 minutes or less – so you can sneak in a quick listen anytime, anywhere.

Check it out on Apple PodcastSpotify, Google Podcast, Amazon Music and more.

You can also visit the website and subscribe to the newsletter to get updates in your inbox.

I hope you enjoy it!
