Well, actually it was less than a day. Just about two hours to be exact.

It was my sister-in-law’s last day in Melbourne and we didn’t want to spend the day at home, so we decided to pay St Kilda a visit! Even though it was 13 degrees… brrr. And the wind at St Kilda was icy cold! I seriously had brain freeze after being slapped by the wind for that two hours.

We took our DSLR with us this time, but, honestly, with two kids (who would not stay still) on our hands, taking out the DSLR for pictures was the last thing on our mind. I’m very tempted to get a smaller camera that can take as beautiful pictures. Thinking of Fujifilm. Hehehe. If you have any recommendations, please let me know!

Despite it being so cold, we still enjoyed St Kilda. I mentioned to my hubby a few times while we were there, that if I was a single woman (or at least had no kids with me at the time), I would be happily sitting by the beach, staring at the scenery, thinking about life, and writing some stories.

A lot of places we’ve been to in Melbourne have inspired the creative side of me. I’m gearing to do a lot of things! I want to paint, I want to write, I want to join the theatre! But at the same time, I struggle because the timing doesn’t seem to be on my side. Some might say the best thing to do is wait. Wait till the kids are older. Wait till we are more settled. Wait wait wait. But I’m getting restless.

Where I am now is both nerve-wrecking and exciting. Nerve-wrecking because I do not know what the future holds. Exciting because I do not know what the future holds.

My only assurance is that God holds my future in His hands, and He always has the perfect timing.

At the same time, Amy and Alistair are growing way too fast. Sometimes I stare at them and wish that time would slow down. Give me more time to memorize this moment. To memorize their expressions, their thoughts, their growth.
