OMG I cannot believe that I am sharing recipes on my blog!
Up till two weeks ago, I could not see myself doing anything in the kitchen besides heating up ready-made food. But since arriving in Melbourne, I’ve been making lunches and helping the hubby with preparing dinner. I am well on my way to becoming a kitchen queen!
OK fine. I’m not quite there yet, but at least I am making some sort of progress!
So the last few days I made full use of the tortilla wrap. (By the way, excuse my poor food presentation skills.)
First, I made the Banana Nutella wrap for breakfast.
All you need to do is heat up the tortilla, spread Nutella all over, put in a banana, and wrap it all up. It makes a really good snack! Unfortunately, Amy, being the picky little unadventurous eater that she is, refused to try it.
The next day, I made the Ham wrap (yes, I’m really bad with coming out with names) for lunch.
It’s made up of the tortilla, mayonnaise, ham, tomatoes, lettuce and avocados. I topped that up with a bowl of Campbell mushroom soup. Can’t go wrong with that!
And the last day, to use up the remaining tortilla wraps in the pack, I made the Sausage wrap. (see what I told you about my creativity with names?)
This time, it’s the tortilla, mayonnaise, cheese and grilled beef sausage. For the side dish, it was salad – lettuce, tomatoes, apples and avocados, with a bit of mayonnaise and lemon squeezed in for dressing.
I really love tortilla wraps, and this definitely won’t be the last time I’m using them for meals. So easy and so yummy.
If you’re a kitchen newbie just like me, I hope this helps. Let me know how it goes if you try it!
